Reproduction rights – the rights to an image are granted by way of a license, which is non-exclusive and non-transferable. The terms of the license are agreed between urbanlip.com and you before any use is made of the image. urbanlip.com offers the following rights:
Rights Managed – Specific License: governed by exposure, size, territory, whether the use is editorial or commercial and duration
Rights Managed – Broad License: unlimited use governed only by duration
Exclusive License: as we manage the image rights to all urbanlip images we are able to arrange both exclusive licenses and perform retrospective checks on the history of the image
Reproduction fees: these will vary according to the rights required to license the chosen image. Please contact us and we will provide you with a quote within 4 hours.
Rights are granted strictly on payment of the reproduction fee prior to the start of the usage period.
releases
urbanlip.com offers model releases on all it’s imaging and where relevant, property releases. Please contact us should you need a copy of the release when licensing an image. Images depicting people may not be used in a defamatory context.
copyright
No ownership or copyright in any image shall pass to you by issue of the license.
urbanlip.com strives to protect the intellectual property and livelihoods of the artists and creators of the imaging we represent and for this purpose has authorised PicRights to manage copyright compliance on our behalf. If PicRights has contacted you about a potential copyright infringement please deal directly to resolve the matter. Once enforcement proceedings have commenced, we can only intervene if you legitimately licensed the images concerned.
