multiple lightbox function
what is a lightbox? A lightbox is an area where you can store a select group of images to review or send to a client or colleague for their info/comments. You can create multiple lightboxes to deal with the variety of projects you may be working on at any one time. These can be saved for an indefinite period of time or deleted as you finish with them.
how do I create my first lightbox? Either click on ‘lightbox’ in the main navigation bar or select ‘add to lightbox’ under your chosen image. A virtual lightbox will be displayed on your screen and you can give it a name in the ‘create new lightbox’ input box. Click on ‘go’ and the screen will refresh displaying your newly ‘named’ lightbox as your ‘active lightbox’. You are not obliged to purchase at this stage but you need to be logged in to use this function.
how do I add/delete images to/from my lightbox? To add images, simply click on ‘add to lightbox’ which you will find under each image. To delete an image click on ‘remove’ under the image you wish to delete.
how do I delete a lightbox? Just press the ‘delete’ button within the lightbox and you will be asked whether you are sure you would like to delete the entire lightbox and its contents. If the answer is ‘yes’, select ‘ok’.
how do I manage multiple lightboxes? Each image you select will be added to your ‘active lightbox’ so ensure that you select your correct lightbox before you add an image. Then you can flick between lightboxes adding images when you need to. If you would like to review your lightboxes, click on ‘my account’ in the main navigation bar and you will be presented with a summary of all your lightboxes and how many images you have in each.
I would like to share my lightbox. You can email your lightbox together with a message to whoever you choose to share your lightbox with. The email function is located at the bottom of your lightbox.
how do I move easily between my search and adding images to my lightbox? The search function is displayed on your lightbox page ensuring that you’ll be able to move between search and lightbox quickly and easily. When you are using your lightbox(s) the category you were last in will be highlighted. Simply click on this to take you back to your last viewed category, alternatively use the back button on your browser or the ‘previous page’ command in the grey bar at the bottom of your screen. If you wish to browse a different category, simply click on your chosen one and you will be taken straight there. To get back to your lightbox either select another image to add or if you have finished your selection, simply click on ‘lightbox’ in the main navigation bar.
